As a football product, sure. You’ve got a higher concentration of highly skilled players

As an entertainment product, I prefer cfb

College is FAR more enjoyable. Much more variety, more storylines, more drama.

It's really lame to see players like Justin Fields transfer to the Ohio States of the world without having to sit out. Boring sport.

Just my opinion, I think both college and NFL are a shell of their former selves. Maybe it’s just me getting older

I prefer the drama and regional pride of college football. I also love how much every single game matters, which is why I hope the playoffs never expand.

Well, on one hand, the NFL has Colin Kaepernick, but College Football has climate injustice, so I think its pretty close.

Nah, it's OSU, Bama, Clemson, OU every year, with an LSU, Oregon sprinkled in every now and again.

Good for those teams, but the NBA at least has the Spurs or Pistons winning every now and again.

True, but there are also high stakes games that redefine the title race just about every week, which is definitely not the case with the NFL. To each their own, I prefer the college football format.

Imo the reason college is so great is because of how many levels of success there are. Yeah teams that you listed would be disappointed in anything other than the playoffs but teams like illinois are happy as hell with going to a bowl.

You have all these teams who all have individual goals and can still have successful seasons even tho they won’t be playing in January. That’s why I think cfb > nfl but I can see how people can have a different opinion.

I think the NFL has been a better on-field product for a few years now. NFL games are shorter and more competitive.

So you hate the NFL, where you can be traded on Friday and starting on a different team Sunday?

I've always said, from a weekly standpoint NFL is more entertaining and exciting. That will always be the case when you have scheduled rent-a-wins in college.

But college football has them beat on big games. No sport IMO touches college football when two powerhouses are going at it. NFL gets close during the playoffs, but I still don't think it matches up.

Watch a top matchup on Saturday then watch a noon NFL game.

No. There's a salary cap.
