The next 10-20 years of UT vs LSU football will be fun and potentially the next biggest

Rivalry in sports
and your grandkids could be obsessed with it
This year Texas is better that's really not close. But LSU is a damn fine football team and these programs are set to be pretty well off for the next few years as they fight for control of the West and the SEC and the national championship
and not only football but all major sports and the money that will come from the mutual hatred and then self-hatred when it's a big loss
Holy crap it has the potential to be fun I'll be dead for most of it some of you will be but it's gonna be good it's gonna be nasty it's gonna be fun

UT-LSU will not even make it out of the gate. UT’s trillion dollar athletic fund combined with their stellar on-field performances will all but guarantee their success over the next several decades. LSU, on the other hand, is at the point where they have to put on car washes in the Walk Ons parking lot and sell cookies and trinkets to drivers at intersections to scrape together funds to support the program.

University of Texas is greater than Louisiana State by every academic and athletic measurement available….and it is not even close.

They’re not going to play every year so I think it will be hard for a rivalry to gain much traction. They’re not playing next year in the first year with Texas and Oklahoma in the SEC.
