I said endorsement earnings, not salary.

The reason they are the highest paid is the same reason they have the most endorsement earnings. They are the leaders of the team and have the ball in their hand every play

All that said, it doesn't change the original point. A lot of people call the NBA a league of thugs even though they are less likely to commit violent crimes than NFL players.

The faces of the NBA are almost universally black and that leads to a lot of those statements.

Do you have any statistics to back this up? I believe I read it before the last time I researched this.

No, a lot of people do not call the NBA a league of thugs. You're making a blanket statement about a decade late.

NFL also have vastly more players than the NBA. Now someone pull up arrest % for the NFL and NBA.

The NFL is still way higher. I don't have the numbers in front of me, but I looked them up not too long ago for a similar discussion.

For the record, TMZ didn't do good investigative work. Some of those tickets were dated and timed when Dwight was playing in a game in another city at the same time.

So although the tickets may be charged to him, he was not driving and running red lights.

Yes, they actually still do. It has been said numerous times on this very board in the last 2 weeks.

A cousin was driving for ALL the tickets. Well done, TMZ.

ETA: The D-Mo Lithuanian radio interview was aslo royally fricking botched by whoever reported it here in the states. Completely mis-translated. Shitty Rox related reporting lately.

How about a owner who is illegally taped making some comments in the privacy of his own home and forced to sell his team for comments.

He knew he was making those comments on tape.

He says he didn't. She says she did.

Who knows.
