Grab outside of Lawrence (who has disappointed) I don’t think these guys were all that hyped
Really outside of Mac, all were pretty raw prospects that had had high ceilings and low floors
bullshite lol
The talking heads were pumping up Trey Lance and Justin Fields for all they were worth lol

bullshite back at ya. Which talking heads? Someone talking about how a certain prospect has upside and could be good is not the same thing as saying it’s a generational draft. Lance was clearly a raw prospect, yeah some people loves him but it was always based on upside. Fields fell to 11 if you think he was hyped you are probably just a Fields hater

Stupid draftniks shouldn't count.
I don't remember 2021 being hyped other than Lawrence.
Everyone with a brain knew Lance and Fields were Josh Allen-esque picks with physical talent but tons of refining needed to become competent (let alone great).
Mac Jones was your typical cerebral QB with physical limitations, and only got in the discussion b/c SF traded to 3 to pick him.
