Chalmette's ace has four no-hitters this year, albeit against lesser competition.

Right handed or left handed?

Should be a good game. All of WM's starting pitchers are seniors

Looks like weather is going to be a challenge for Monday and Tuesday games....

If games pushed back to Wednesday, that's one less arm for a weekend series

In 22 nondistrict games Chalmette played down in class 13 times and you are whining about your district games. You should know your district is weaker so you have to schedule a tougher schedule if you want the power points. Good luck in the playoffs and adjust your schedule next year.

there you go... early in the season we hosted st. thomas more when they were nationally ranked. i thought we'd get run ruled, but for the first five innings, we led 4-0, they had no hits, and it was getting epic. now they came back and won, but according to you, we played "down"

then later in the season we were gonna go to #2 seed in 4A Franklinton but it got rained out. just as well bc we were gonna play "down" anyway, amirite?

total wins by teams 2-7 in each 5A district

1-5A 74
2-5A 75
3-5A 109
4-5A 90
5-5A 65
6-5A 83
7-5A 88
8-5A 48
9-5A 81

but you didn't and playing one good team isn't enough to get you high power ranking especially if you lose.

oh and the total combined record of the teams you have played is 410-469 the worst out of any team in the playoffs but i'm just saying

All I was trying to say was don't expect to be at the top of the power rankings when you play an overall watered down nondistrict schedule then complain that your power ranking isn't very high due to your district schedule. I honestly think they should do away with the districts since they use the power rankings but in your case your own scheduling hurt you in addition to the district teams you had to play. I'm not bashing your team, just making an observation. We've also been in the same situation in some past years especially when you schedule a nondistrict team that you thought was going to be good turns out to be not so good and their record goes south.

10-2 WM after 2. This pitcher is much better than the first. Probably a good 5-7 mph faster, nice curve.

11-2 WM after 3.

Also heard Jesuit beat Ruston 8-0. The winner of this game will travel to Jesuit this weekend for best of 3.
