The ability to run routes=/=athletisism , which is what Matt Jones lacks........

Whatever, any biomechanics professor will shoot this notion down quickly....

Matt Jones can run fast and jump high........that doesn't make him a great athlete.

you're again equating being a good player with being a great athlete.

I think most folks think qualities of a great athlete include the ability to execute and perform in their respective competitive endeavors; which includes intangibles like instinct, vision and perseverance...not just raw physical abilities.

Why because I understand the difference between what makes a person athletic and what makes them fast?

The NBA thought Tyrus Thomas was loaded with athleticism. What do you think that means? I would guess mainly that he could jump out the gym.

Hasn't Tyrus Thomas solidified himself as a starter in the NBA? Hasn't Tyrus Thomas succeeded in proving this at his trade?

Whatever bro, from your prudent logical involvement in this thread, I can conclude that you are probably a rocket scientist or a neurosurgeon.

Props for actually seeing the grey in what defines a person being athletic.......

Great physical ability is the prefect way to describe Matt Jones.

I won't argue against that.....but when you use the word simple to describe someone's abilities it never equates to great.
