We need him back. All American for sure in kickoff and punts.

Partially correct. It was to someone working with the police, but not an officer. Northern Iowa fans are making fools of themselves on various places online regarding this topic.

It will be removed from his record once his program is complete. Poor decision, but shouldn't be a big deal.

Illinois State. Fast, high powered offense with a legit defense. Playmakers all over the field. Poised to make a return trip to Frisco. Plus the head coach, Brock Spack, has a sweet 'stache.

Glad to see him getting some love. I hated that Joker left a bad taste in his mouth at UK by not playing him and he felt like Chad Scott was a part of that. Got the unfortunate experience of dealing with being recruited over by Stoops and Co. on top of it. Wish he could've stayed at UK and hopefully doesn't gash them too bad when they meet up this season.

Thanks for the clarification, that's what I heard from someone. Insane to think that Coprich and Roberson are back, the offense will be incredible. I don't know if ISU will have staying power as an FCS giant, but next year will be fun. They are killing it with FBS transfers though, Kenney from IU who was a four star DE a couple years ago is coming in and an Oregon guy too. Roberson could probably start for at least half of the FBS and would be legit at IU if Sudfeld didn't beat him out. I know Spack's son personally, good kid.

Oh, well, why didn't you say that in the first place?

The time's right to jump on the Nicholls State bandwagon before there is one.

I sure hope so. I'm counting on Roberson to QB my FCS fantasy team this season after my 2 big time QBs graduated.

I think the QB from Villanova will be a good grab also as he is the reigning Walter Payton Award Winner. I felt he wasnt the best player though, it should have been the QB from EWU.

As far as teams to root for I think he should root for any SoCon team or William and Mary. Just my 2 cents worth.

Montana and UNI have announced a two game home and home. This is probably the biggest home and home since McNeese and UNI. To me, this is like Florida and Ohio St having a home and home.

Montana has only played at UNI one time a win in playoffs, the others were playoff wins @ Montana. Montana is 5-0. Series begins in 2016.

We have our first probation of the year in FCS I believe.

Looks like Kerwin took a page from his head coach at Florida and got them the hammer.

"The PFL enforcement committee, composed of three league presidents and two athletic directors, met with the university to adjudicate the case and made final decisions on the matter. The committee has fully accepted Jacksonville's self-imposed sanctions and has decided upon a ban on 2015 postseason play," PFL commissioner Patty Viverito said. "Throughout the process, Jacksonville has been forthright, straight forward and a model of character and integrity."

Jacksonville's violations have occurred under head coach Kerwin Bell, who enters his ninth season this year.

I have been a football season ticket holder at South Dakota for years. While USD is in no position to contend right now in the MVFC I have seen all the MVFC teams come through here, as well as schools from other conferences, and follow the FCS very closely.

Any discussion about the FCS begins and ends with the MVFC. Last season USD lost it's opener to Oregon, which was to be expected but the worst part was we lost our veteran starting QB to a broken hand. We had two non-conference FCS games, both with Big Sky opponents. So USD traveled to Montana with a backup QB, it was a closely contested game that Montana won on it's home field. Not a bad showing against a perennial power while dealing with a key injury. Next Northern Arizona came up here as a ranked team. They more resembled a weak D2 or NAIA team as USD pushed them all over the field and won the game. We then proceeded to get slapped around by the teams in the MVFC the rest of the season.

The level of play is just that much higher in the Valley than it is in any other FCS conference right now. You have the 4 time defending champs at NDSU. The runner ups at Illinois State (I saw both teams play in person last season and thought ISU was better but NDSU proved it on the field in the end). South Dakota State and UNI are solid and Youngstown is loaded for bear with Bo Pelini coming in and landing a ton of BCS conference transfers. Top to bottom it is a grind, and that is the reason the Valley put up a non-conference record of 23-1 against the rest of FCS last season, and the Valley is going to be even stronger this season.

Don't really want to predict a 5-peat for NDSU but right now it is kind of hard to pick against them. If it isn't NDSU winning the NC it will be another MVFC team, probably Illinois State if I had to put money on it.

Robertson was a BEAST last year....he's already on a team. We started our league in 2012 with 12 teams. Bumped up to 14 in 2013 and 2014 and now have expanded to 16 teams for 2015. This is a full keeper league, meaning you keep everyone on your roster from the end of 1 season to the beginning of the next unless you drop them pre-draft. So my QBs are Tre Roberson and Trenton Norvell from WIU. I'm losing Bryan Bennett (SELA) and Garrett Safron (Sacramento St) from last season's runner-up team.
