Rodgers should demand $70 million a year because without him, they are probably one of the 3 or 4 worst teams in the NFL. With him, they go NFC title games...

McCarthy looks totally incompetent, Ted Thompson looks even more incompetent.... Honestly, who holds these guys accountable on a team with no owner... This is pathetic...

How are they gonna bring in guys to play with Rodgers if he is taking up the majority of the cap?

McCarthy should've been fired after that playoff game against Seattle a couple years ago

That's kind of their problem. They don't bring anyone in. 99 percent of their players are drafted. They completely ignore FA

31 current Packers were drafted by the Packers.
21 were Free Agents
1 was a Waiver claim

They're not '99% draftees'-- their original draftee percentage is not all that unusually high-- what they do not do, is trade or acquire starters in other fashions. They are unusually high in the number of *starters* they draft, but not deviantly so-- simply high.

With the exception of the Patriots, this would happen to every team in the league who has a franchise qb and loses him.

And we get to watch the shite show on SNF next week because NBC refused to flex out into Saints/Rams instead.

Good call.

And it's all because the networks are being funded by the government to send subliminal messages to make our kids gay.

He’s the most important player in the league. Which it’s pretty crazy that he has never had a gamebreaking WR/RB or TE. Give Rodgers one of three and tha Packers would be ridiculous.

There's a reason for all his talent and skill, Rodgers has only appeared in one Super Bowl. He gets all the money while the rest of the team languishes due to the fact that they can't afford anyone else.

To be fair, how many teams would be going to NFC title games with a backup qb? Especially one getting his first meaningful snaps.

Brady

Is not even among the Top 10 highest paid QBs in the league. He's #15 behind the likes of Eli Manning, Phillip Rivers, and Kirk Cousins.
