We traded the Rock for Ken "The Hawk" Harrelson! he then wanted to become a professional golfer!

I thought it was for Mr. Batting avg. Harvey Kuenn?

And then by the time they got Rock back, he was overvalued,

I think we may have enough Indians fans on here for a DIT.

Just another shitty team in Ohio to discuss...

I am starting to believe this frickin' team is cursed.

I fully believed that after we couldnt win a world series in the mid/late nineties esp. with the whole jose mesa disaster and the error at 2B in game 7 vs. the marlins.

Like mentioned, the only good thing mgmt has done is the trade for Sizemore/Lee. However, lee is gone and sizemore hasnt been the same since injury

Brandon Phillips for a player to be named later. I don't even remember who that player ended up being, but I do know that he sucked.

didn't we trade Dave Burba to the Indians for Sean Casey?

I liked that trade even more

Benefited both clubs at the time. Burba was, like him or not, one of the horses of the Indians staff for a good 5 years.

yeah I looked on baseball reference after I posted. Indians got three good years out of Burba and one shitty year before they dumped him

I seem to remember we unloaded payroll with that deal as well

what a great trade
