It is rather odd how their women athletes in gymnastics and swimmimg look like little girls but the men's team don't look like little boys.

That's a good fricking point. Female gymnasts need to be strong, but nowhere near that of the men. Younger boys can't do most of the shite the men do... unless they're a "14 year old" on the Taiwan little league team.

The only reason I am somewhat happy that the Chinese won is the fact that these little girls will actually get to see mom and dad for a day before they get forced back into the gym for practice.

...just curious...can anyone out there find and POST A PHOTO of that one particular tiny Chinese gymnast that was OBVIOUSLY about 10 -11 ....Even the announcers were saying ( oh so "diplomatically" ) that there was some "questions" being raised about the ages of the Chinese, but that - Hey - they had "government passports" indicating they were all 16! ....oh, yeah - "government passports" Ha!

At least Bela didn't shy away from it, but Costas was being a little bitch and trying to cut him off.

I love how Bela worked it in a second time. Congrats, they did a fantastic job, but too bad they are underage.

I love how Corrolli just came right out with it and said "...even if they're 14 or 15..." in a comment about experience. He didn't even try to sugar coat it.

"...you people are constantly crying about the Chinese ..."

Well - they are deliberatly participating outside the rules of the meet - in a way that gives them a substantial advantage as a team, thus, by definition, they are CHEATING. I guess thats all okay with you...

Its this mentality that America has now (i.e. it is promulgated by the liberal mainstream media)...that we dont want to piss anyone off or step on any toes.

That gold medal was not deserved...it was pretty obvious they broke the rules to win it. If America pulled that shite, there would be a huge worldwide backlash.

Take it to the Poli Board.

My only problem is I keep hearing "obviously" as in they're obviously not 16. When there is proof, the medals should be taken away. But, only when there is proof. And, I am all for a full investigation taking place.

...check out this YouTube link. Video of the 'tiny tot" Chinese gymnasts and commentary. Just go to YouTube and put in "search" : Chinese Olympic Gymnast Cheating. Pretty conclusive I would say...

Regardless of who is to blame for this, these girls did not deserve medals...they competed illegally.

I feel for the little girls and understand what the government does to them, but they did not belong in that competition thus they did not deserve medals...its that simple.

no you don't feel for them. if you did you know they worked just as hard if not harder than anyone else.

blame their government and their handlers, in which you are not doing. you are blaming 10-13 year old girls who have been pretty much forced to compete.

the pussification has going on for years, what do you believe is the root of the problem?

in recent months i have really come to believe that is a result of western expansion in the US. hear me out, as more of our media, tv, press etc becomes influenced by the SOFT los angeles area crowd, i see us turning into a bunch of pussies. Somewhere in the settlement of cali i guess they lost touch with the old blue collar american values, and b/c they were so remote developed their own la la land sensibilities to make it seem like everything was great and they weren't wrong in forging west. this trickled down for generations, now they have too much influence.

I never thought this until recently. For the last couple of years i have worked primarily with Los Angeles area folks and i have become convinced that they are the problem. In general, they are just shitty, shitty people with little to no spine.

What are you not getting, coonass?

They competed ILLEGALLY (yes, forced by the government)...they do not deserve a medal for a competition they did not belong in....regardless of who is to blame, a gold medal hanging around a cheaters neck should not happen. They broke the rules, albeit they were forced by the government; however, their presence in the competition is the actual breaking of the IOC rule. Get it?

I think that is an interesting theory...the people that I have met from Cali are hypocritical at best.

The media is just so far off the deep end now...and they have Americans beleiving that we should pussyfoot around issues like this so as not to piss off the Chinese.
