quote:practice is not live football. You also want to prevent injuries. Even Saban said he learned to not have these guys practice every day for a month before playing in a bowl because it doesn’t help them.
Is this not what practice is for?
Please be smarter

I think it is time to go to 16 highest ranked teams, no byes, homefield to higher ranked team for at least two rounds.
No one cares about bowl games anymore.

Is this not what practice is for? Also this isn’t the first game of the season in September after not playing since January. It’s been less than a month. Get the frick outta here with this shite.
Practice isn’t enough. I know Oregon ran Saturday scrimmages this year to better prepare

Ohio State was the better team after the half.

The bye is ridiculous
I agree that they are a net negative. Way too much time between games for the playoff bye teams. Two weeks would be a real advantage, but sponsors completely own sports in this country.

Bye teams are 0-5 so far

Nah, Ohio State was overrated all year and not big or physical at all up front and Miami is big and physical and plowed OSU all night.
Sometimes it's that simple. Games are won in the trenches

I agree, this what happened to you guys last year. However, we weren’t good enough this year to win it all.
If you guys spend $50 million next year, surely you will be ready to win it all.

Well they sure weren't at the end of the game.
That last drive Miami ran all over them

Boise St, Oregon and Arizona state were all underdogs last year. They were supposed to lose

They also weren’t close to the odds.
This isn’t hard
