First, let me say that as a life long fan, i realize they haven't been close to what i thought they were going to be.....BUT....lets look at the big reason why! The schedule...yes the Browns have struggled up to this point going 2-5, but they just came off the hardest 5 game stretch in the NFL. If you look at the back half of the Browns schedule, they could seriously go 8-1 starting this week with a Flaccoless 2-5 Broncos team. lastly, the AFC is extremely weak this year, the Browns are only a game out of the wildcard positions. Still lots of football left to be played....

2019 Browns:

Tennessee Titans (4-4)- L
@New York Jets (1-6)- W
LA Rams (5-3) - L
@Baltimore Ravens (5-2) - W
@San Francisco 49ers (8-0) - L
Seattle Seahawks (6-2) - L
New England Patriots (8-0) - L

^^^^
That is absolutely brutal. Show me another team that has played that so far!!

Now lets look at the remaining schedule

@Denver (2-5)
Buffalo (5-2)
Pittsburgh (3-4)
Miami (0-8)
@Pittsburgh (3-4)
Cincinnati (0-8)
@Arizona (3-4-1)
Baltimore (5-2)
@Cincinnati (0-8)

This weeks game against Denver will tell us if the Browns are still alive or not...if this team is still playing to win. If they take care of business and beat Denver, they could seriously go on a run. I believe baby...i think the Browns go 8-1 or 7-2 and finish either 10-6 or 9-7 and make the playoffs.

Let’s revisit this at the end of the season.

Browns are three games out for a wildcard. Baker sucks and they are the Browns, they’ll go 8-8 at best this year.

Maybe...just maybe they have been terrible because of the teams they have played? Most teams would be 2-5 with that schedule. I know its fun to bag on the Browns....but its like yall didn't even look at the schedule i posted. Moving forward, the Browns could be favorites in every game minus Baltimore.

While the schedule was a tough stretch, you still have to look somewhat competent. They didn't.

Playing a Flacco-less Denver isn't necessarily a good thing. And that's still not a cake walk. Haven't seen the spreads this week, but that can't be more than like 3.5.

I'll give them Cincinnati (2x) and Miami. That puts them at five wins. Every other game is very much up in the air.

you're rather take the Browns schedule up to this point than the Saints schedule? The Saints also had a tough stretch but That's ridiculous .
They've played the two undefeated teams. That alone puts them up there. And all the metrics in looking at, they only have Oakland with a tougher schedule

They lost to every good team they’ve played minus a Nick Chubb beatdown of the ravens. They looked OK against the Seahawks and aside from that have been getting lit up.

Even if by some miraculous turn of events they go 9-7 and sneak in they’ll get blasted in the wildcard round. That sound appealing? That’s in reach for the browns.

What???

Yes i suppose they didn't look competent against TWO 8-0 Teams, but they were beating both the Rams and the Seahawks in those games. Those were two games the Browns def had some growing pains. Again, if you cant look at that remaining schedule and tell me that the Browns will have the talent to win every game, then you are kidding yourself.

frick YES that sounds appealing!!! Have some perspective! The Browns haven't won a playoff game since 1994 and have been a disaster since they returned. A 9-7 season with a playoff berth with the YOUNGEST team in the NFL and a rookie head coach...id say that would be heading in the right direction. Also, they had the Rams on the ropes. We absolutely blew that game right at the end.

Houston 5-3
LA 5-3
Seattle 6-2
Dallas 4-3

Then
Tampa 2-5
Jax 4-4
Chicago 3-4
Arizona 3-4-1

I’d give the edge to the browns so far

The Titans are a decent 4-4 squad. It was the first game for a rookie head coach and it was the first game that Baker, Juice and OBJ had all played together. Neither WR played a snap in the preseason. I bet Kitchens wont make that same mistake again. It came down to simply being a young and unprepared team.

Again, i think it all comes down to this weeks game against Denver. This week will either make or break the season. If the Browns don't come out and take care of a game they SHOULD win, then you all are most likely going to be right, but i firmly believe, with the talent the Browns have, the schedule they have played thus far, that if they come out and beat Denver, that this team can get on a roll. We have the talent!!
