He is doing great RIGHT NOW!!! BUT he pitches for the Royals and will end 15-15 at best!! Sorry!! I wish the Royals would win the Division!!! That would be cool.

He started out really hot last year too. Will come back to earth at some point... but he should have an incredible year.

15-15 is not going to happen. I see him winning 20.

yeah it says right now, which i agree with. he is not the best pitcher in baseball. he will not end 15-15 or anywhere close to it. he is probably not gonna get 30 decisions this year.

and this year, him pitching for the royals is not as meaningful. they are gonna be about .500 all year.

Unless the Royals bats carry on the whole season, not gonna happen. Not that it matters, wins by a pitcher as a stat is a joke.

eh, not for greinke so far it isn't. when you let up zero earned runs, you pretty much won the game.

I may be in the minority but I think the Royals offense is well above average. They have a bunch of young hitters that can flat rake.

I would be more concerned about the bullpen blowing 5-10 of his potential wins than the bats not carrying.

He's not going to keep that up all season. KC was 25th in the MLB in runs scored last year with 691. He isn't going to get much run support.

ETA: .269 Team BA last year and down to .247 this year.

See above. They're 24th in runs right now and 25th in Team BA...not exactly raking.

Which is another reason I don't think he'll get 20. But like I said wins for a pitcher is a dumb stat. The guy is a damn good pitcher and I hope people don't overlook him if he doesn't hit the 20 win mark.

I don't hate ALL stats, just stupid ones like RBIs and Wins. I love when pitchers throw complete games. I'm kicking myself in the arse for not remembering the name but there was a guy on Meyers and Hartman today that threw an insane amount of CG's in one season...30 maybe? They brought up that most seasons now don't have 30 CG's in an entire season!!! CRAZY!

That's if the bullpen holds up for him.

Well yeah but, since you were born 100 years before the game was even invented, that's by default.

Greinke is a stud though and will not need much run support to hit 20 if he keeps pitching the way he has.

I'm not getting caught up in stats this early in the season. I seriously doubt the Blue Jays will end the season in the 10 offensively and I also doubt the Royals don't finish around 15.
