It is a good win. Don't get your panties in a wad because I said that the west has been relatively weak lately. Granted the Giants won a few years ago, but their team is completely different now. Dbacks are on the way up, I think and so with the Dodgers with the new ownership. However, they aren't there yet
I feel like you're trolling hard here. Because if you're not I seriously owe the other guy an apology for trying to argue base stealing success as reasoning to steal a base.
Good lord

I'm trolling because I think the NL west is weak ? Matt Kemp has been on an incredible tear of late and is one of the reasons why the Dodgers is in 1st. However, I don't think he can carry them all season long.
Time will tell it's the third week into the season. I think the Dodgers have a few gaps in their lineup and their rotation.
As for the D-Backs, they have a few gaps too. They really need Stephen Drew to come back from the DL.
But, it's a good win for the Braves. I hope they keep it up.

My new goal in life is to have a tweet with #Barves in it read on air by Miss Beth

You're right but not because you based it on anything.
Yeah, losing Stephen Drew sucks but Chris Young was the real blow. Add that to Justin Upton missing 3? games and the Braves caught a real break in Arizona. Braves also missed facing Kershaw and Billingsley.
Anyways I know your area is football so it's all good
As far as the NL West goes, the Dodgers are for real this year and the new ownership has absolutely nothing to do with it, to be honest. Kemp has been great but he was great last year. Ethier is arguably your difference maker since he's been raking. Aaaaaanyways it was a good road trip

Did you want my reasons why the NL West is weak ? I wasn't aware you asked.
Chris Young, a career .242 hitter, isnt a real blow to the d-backs. He isn't Justin Upton. He does provide decent power and SBs. I'll agree on ya with that. I don't think they can hit to well and their pitching isn't there either. Their entire team is batting .234 . . I don't think their rotation is that great either. Hudson, Collmenter, Kennedy, Cahill ?
Cahill has the ability to be a beast but since about end of may last year. . he has fricking tanked and has been awful. Kennedy is a good prospect but also pretty young. Collmenter is young.
Padres aren't that good either. I understand they play in a pitchers park at Petco but damn. They are hitting a team .211 and have played against the Dodgers like 7 times this season. Outside of Headley they dont' have that many great players. Their pitching staff blows too.
Colorado is meh all the way through. Their avg is medium btu should be a lil higher with them playing at Coors Field. They might run into pitching staff problems. When you have a 40+ year old being one of your top pitchers. shite isn't looking good.
Dodgers have Either and Kemp. Kemp is a beast but he isn't going to keep up .400 + numbers. . no way in hell no way in hell he keeps up his recent tear. Ethier is getting older but very serviceable. I'll give you that. Some people thought his numbers would decline because of his age. I think they will drop a lil bit throughout the season but will be good and solid player.
Dee Gordon got his first call up last year. . and played what half a season ? Who knows what the Dodgers have there. He is their leadoff hitter and what is he batting .230? I'm not sure what to think of him. Ellis is old as frick at 2B. I mean the dodgers have holes.
Then look defensively at the NL West. The top MLB teams in errors consist of the NL west teams.
My point was I don't think they will be very good, and I don't think they will. But it's predictions and it's the first four weeks of teh season. Things can turn around. But, like I said the NL West has been weak compared to others.
ETA: As for Dodger ownership, it is going to play a big role this year and every other year for them. They haven't had stability and they haven't had owners that would cater to them and step up for them. McCourt was a pretty big cancer.

They aren't great teams but they are good teams and we took 5 of 7 out West, which is always tough.
It's a great road trip.

5 out of 7 out of any road trip is good. I agree. I just made the statement I don't think this division is that great and they have huge gaps.
Comeback wins in the 9th are especially good. I'm not taking anything away from the Braves just saying that they probably did what they are suppose to do.

so glad this road trip is over
I HATE west coast road trips. Games start at 10pm my time
I couldn't watch any of the LA series

Since we have an off day, what kind of controversial topics can we talk about today for entertainment?

I keep hearing a damn rumor that we were calling Gearrin up to the Majors but I didn't see him pitch last night!
Will someone just fricking tell me if he got called up, and when I can see my favorite RP of all time pitch please?

I'm more interested in who you think the good teams are. Nats, Cards and who else? We obviously aren't going to play both teams every series
