Wonder how much he will cost us and if we'll try to move him with Viz coming up strong, and since we'll be getting Medlen AND Moylan back.

He bet someone that Uggla would hit .260
Uggla only has to hit .781 to finish at .400

how does one do the math on that?

I would really like to see Bourn here. I would be ok with Willingham because Chipper will get hurt and he's a consistent .800 OPS guy and he could end up as our left fielder when Prado moves to third. Although I'm sure Chipper will be on the team next year. We'd find at-bats for Willingham regardless.
What would be overpaying for Bourn? Minor? I'm not quite as reluctant to give up one of our pitching prospects as some of us on here just because we have a lot of good young pitchers. And center field will continue to be a problem unless we work something out.
What does the free agent class look like for center field this off-season? It seems like I remember reading that its not great. And we'll certainly be letting Nate go.

Current # of at bats TIMES however many games we have left (assuming he doesn't take a day off) = Current # of games played TIMES X (variable). Solve for X.
This will give you his projected # of at bats total for the end of the year.
Then you would do current batting average TIMES projected # of total at bats = current # of at bats at bat TIMES X.
Again solve for X which gives you .2786 if Whitie did his math correctly and I'm sure he probably did.

Moylan will be non tendered imo. O'Flaherty will likely cost us somewhere around or just north of $2M.

Damn that's a no-brainer to keep him then. Wow what a discount. That guy probably could close for some teams.

Yeah, that's shite. I would be fine with Minor for Bourn as well.

I need number of games player too. I could use his current number played but it will skew it big time since you want me to use only 20 current at bats.

I need to register on VolNation so I can post in their Braves threads. Talk about Bravetards.
