Thinking about getting SRO tickets for tomorrow, should I go for it? SRO sucks for big games like this unless you get there early and camp a good spot in Ashburn Alley.

This is what they need:
1. Prado LF
2. Heyward RF
3. Jones 3B
4. Mac C
5. Freeman 1B
6. Uggla 2B
7. Right-Handed Bat CF
8. Gonzo SS

Bench:
Hinske
Conrad
Ross
Schafer/McLouth (probably Schafer since this role is for pinch running and defense)
Trade for UTIL man who can play SS

Bullpen:
Kimbrel
Venters
Moylan/O'Flaherty
Sherrill/Trade for Right Handed Arm
Medlen

We have more pressing needs than SS as long as Gonzo is hitting way down in the lineup.

Our pitching riches are embarrassing. I would not be shocked to see a major move at the deadline for someone whose contract runs beyond this year.

bingo. Kepp is exactly what you need. he'll be cheap to get and the guy lives on base.

I wish Bourn didn't have such a shitty OBP. he would be perfect even if he had just a decent OBP.

31- have any ideas of people we could trade for?

You don't need a good OPS when you're hitting 1 hole. Bourn would be PERFECT for this team.

Unfortunately, the Stros might want a little too much

exactly. Braves don't need to make that big of a splash/spend that kind of money/give away that much in prospect value. this team is already really good. get a cheap fix like Kepp.

Scott Proctor's Braves career: 5.40 ERA in 80 innings. 58 and 2/3 of those innings came in the minor leagues.

This guy just doesn't go away. If the Braves DFA him, I'm sure he'll end up back in Gwinnett one way or another, just waiting for a big league injury.

1) I just realized that Nate has the 3rd best OBP of our regulars.
2) Bourn's OBP is less than Nate's.
3) Maybe an Adam Jones type.

Typo. I meant OBP like I put in the next sentence.

FWIW for those hating on Linebrink, he's been real solid lately, and lately I mean since the middle of May

In his last 23 appearances, he's given up a grand total of 3 ER, and only 3 inherited runners have scored out of 15

that's pretty fricking good. really good actually.

Nate's done pretty well in the 8th hole, he would be a better leadoff man than Schafer imo.

Orioles would ask the moon for him.
