Well when Floyd/Minor gets back then two of either Garcia, Wood, or Hale move out of starting rotation. Well I guess and Santana because they don't list him....
My guess goes
Julio, Santana, Minor, Floyd, Garcia is how it looks comes June/July

maybe, but I'd of course prefer wood

Possibly Wood posted some solid numbers last year and is the younger option. Put Garcia in for long relief but way things look for Braves they not getting the breaks this year, Garcia may start 20 games which would be bad news

No way in hell Garcia starts 20 games this year. I've got a better chance of going to the Indian Ocean and finding that missing plane by myself.

I think Wood is close to a lock. Garcia and Floyd battle for 5th with Hale breathing down their neck. Not am ideal situation but that rotation is good enough to keep this team right there in the mix all year long.

No Beachy, no Medlen good chance he could, Floyd may return in May but that's if he has no set backs. Wood/Hale are really unproven as well

Unless Uggla/BJ hit like last year
I'm not sure Johnson/Gattis perform as well either but Heyward should improve across the board

And don't forget the best Freeman.

I think Freeman/Justin perform similar to how they did last year

Freeman will be MVP if healthy.
Posted on 3/15/14 at 1:02 pm to crimsonian
Nah, I don't think he will hit the 30+ homers
For MVP he will need at least have to hit .325/.380/.520 with 30+ home runs and 120+ RBI

Freddie won't lead the team in WAR

I think Garcia starts in rotation...Wood in the pen until around June...assuming Garcia doesn't completely blow up. I think they're still gonna watch Wood's IPs.

I like Wood, would be interesting to see what kinda season he has since in 11 starts he had what a 3.30 ERA?
Posted on 3/15/14 at 1:37 pm to tduecen
yeah I like him too, he's got a good make up. And yeah those numbers sound about right.

Braves will be about a 150 million payroll once they sign Julio, Wood, Minor correct?
Those are the next 3 up... right?

Julio's already signed...Minor should be next...Will probably wait to see how Wood does after this year to decide to extend him I would think.
As far as payroll numbers, I have no idea.
