Didn't see it from me. I told you guys Heyward was overrated. He will have splashes though. You will be fooled twice more this year by a Heyward streak.

Interestingly enough we already had Heyward, only younger and cheaper in Grichuk.

Great d, decent power, slower, but younger and still developing

Yeah, the Heyward fans were little bitches about it.

The only reason I did not like it was because at the time they acted like they were still going to try to compete this year and supplemented the trade by signing an extra piece for 4 years in what was clearly an asset collecting period.

Once they began trading off JUp, Gattis, Kimbrel, etc. I was more than fine with the Heyward trade but I still absolutely hate the Markakis signing.

With Peterson playing so well (so far), do you think they'll move Peraza to 3rd?

Or move one of Peterson or Peraza to the outfield?

For christs sake, Miller was NEVER going to pitch in St.Louis again.

And because of Oscar death, they had to make a move for a RF, Mo panicked, because of how poor the hitting from RF was the year before.

The trade was what it was.

To act like Cardinals wish they had Miller is a farce. He was never going to pitch here again. Matheny had enough of him not listening out on the mound, he was gone.

Miller only issue was himself, he listens to his coaches, he has major stuff. He refuses and thinks he can blow guys away with his fastbal lall day, he wont last long in Atlanta. Good for him, looks like the deal might of finally woke him up to listening.

Peterson will be moved to 3rd/turned in to a very useful super UTIL guy when Ruiz/D. Peterson/whoever are ready. Peraza is still pretty clearly a better prospect than Peterson.

So a manager not able to handle and work with a top tier starter is on him.

Seems like he's doing just fine in Atlanta

this is the standard Cards fan delusion of "our organization and management is never wrong"..

Miller has certainly improved in Atl under McDowell...

and of course it was always "his fault" in STL..
