it wouldn't be unreasonable for dan to hit something like .230/.340/.410, which would be well above average for a second baseman.

i just cannot fap at all to any of the other second base options

I just want a 2B that can get on base with regularity and a low strikeout rate and can leadoff bc I prefer Heyward to bat later in the order.

I have zero confidence that Uggla will hit any higher than .220....I'm still rooting for Pena to take his job in Spring Training

It's actually not crazy bc La Stella will do that but his defense sucks. Pena is good too but I love his ability to play multiple positions off the bench. Howie Kendrick and Johnny Giavotella could potentially fill that role
