If Kimbrel wins the arbitration hearing with the Braves I think that will guarantee that he will be traded sometime in the next 2 winters.
$9M in arb1 means he will likely approach $20M by arb3. No way the Braves can afford that.

Wow. Can't afford to pay a closer that much money with our crappy TV deal. I think you have to put him on the block while he is still under team control for multiple seasons. You know someone will overpay for him.

Probably will be more like 1.3 yrs/$7M. Still may be worth it though.
