Good price for him.

I'm still pissed his season last year went pretty much unnoticed. It was absolutely brilliant.

One of the best kept secrets in all of baseball.

We avoided arbitration with all our guys again.

Bourn signed for $6.845M

Jurrjens signed for $5.5M

MLBTR projections were pretty spot on. They had our 4 arbitration eligible guys scheduled to make 19.4M

Those guys ended up getting a tad bit above 19.5M

From DOB twitter

Looks like our bullpen will consist of:

Kimbrel
Venters
O'Flaherty
Viz
Moylan
Medlen
Varvarro/Martinez/Gearrin/Asencio

No reason not to give those top two guys a whole lot more rest this year.

And it's official

Moylan has been signed to a minor league deal worth $1M.

Agreed

Hopefully he comes back throwing as well as he was before the injury

We have a chance to have a bullpen where pretty much everyone has an ERA under 3.50, heck maybe even 3.00

We have got to keep these three healthy:Kimbrel
Venters,O'Flaherty. They were as good as any bullpen last year. I think Med will start in the bullpen, and finish in the starting rotation.
to spring training coming up!!

Alternate Road Blue: To be worn at the starting pitcher's discretion on the road (Cannot be worn if home team wears dark top)

This is the uniform guide the Braves submitted to the league apparently.

Damn we have a lot of uniforms. Just a few years ago we just had white and grey.

ETA: I wish we would do away with blue and red. I like the new ones though.

This thread depresses me.

Most exciting piece of news: Lowe gone.
2nd: We got a new uniform combo.

Yay.

It is depressing BUT:

The new uniform does looks good, and Lowe being gone is a big plus. If we can just stay in it through the all-star break, I could see us being much more active at the trade deadline.
