Just got in. Skimmed through the thread. When McCann gets back Monday Pastornicky will likely be sent down. When Heyward gets back I think they will either release Laird or DFA Schafer (if he has regressed to Jordan Schafer norm by then).
I would prefer Gattis be sent down for a few months to get regular ABs rather than releasing Laird, but I can't see any scenario in which that happens.
DFAing Schafer would be the best possible scenario imo.

They gave Laird a two year deal. I can't see them releasing him and then having to go sign another backup catcher next year
