Phillies down by 2 in the 6th of game 2.

He had 6 swings and misses on 32 fastballs tonight and 3 were by Ender (Dansby, Acuña, Flowers all with one each)
A little strange but if you don’t think that’s notable for a guy sitting at 98.2 average velocity that’s okay too.

I think the 6 strikeouts are more notable, but hey, I hope you're right that Anderson is ultimately the better pitcher, there's just not a lot that proves that right now.
Dude has a 25/2 K/BB in three starts. He's an ace.

I think we need to see quite a bit more. Have a feeling he will get hit somewhat hard second time through the league.
The command is obviously ++ but I don’t think he will miss enough bats to be a true #1. Floor is a lot, lot higher than Anderson’s though for sure.
The strand rate is 97% (if he gets out of this) which is absolutely unheard of and about 25% above sustainability.
I think the ERA will be in the mid 3s and the strikeouts and walks low.

But what exactly makes you think that Anderson will be better, other than the fact that he is a Brave?
You're typing all these words for Sixto, looking for every angle to find a negative on a dude that has been nothing short of dominant.
Between this and defending every single one of the moves or non-moves that the Braves front office makes, you're coming off as nothing more than a Braves sunshine pumper when there are real roster and systemic problems at hand.

Jacob Webb has started a game before???

Anderson has been elite at missing bats. Seventh in the league (min. 12 IP) in swinging strike %. Sixto is safer but I think Anderson has the higher ceiling. Sixto is a high floor low ceiling guy unless he makes major changes based on all the underlying numbers. I would certainly take him over Anderson right now and take him over every healthy pitcher in the org right now but I don’t think he will be an ace.
The development of the pitching is a major issue for the Braves. The number one issue is fastball command. These guys work tirelessly on secondary stuff and then get to the big leagues and can’t throw strikes with their fastballs. I would like to see the entire pitching development side overhauled. A guy like Soroka pretty much developed on his own because he was so advanced from a command and maturity perspective coming out.

Webb could be a big addition down the stretch if he’s right. That changeup is nasty. Looks like a playoff arm for the pen for sure.

Got that Kyle Wrong pitching tonight, more walks than innings. You'd think they would get that figured out before the majors, guess not

Phils lose. Magic number is 19 to win the East.

Wright actually only had two walks tonight. It’s very unlike him.
He also only had two HRs given up before tonight, when he gave up 3.

I feel like tomorrow’s game is huge for the momentum of the team.

...and we got Tommy Milone pitching in that spot against another good, young starter in Pablo Lopez.
Can't wait.
