I'll be shocked in the Nats don't go to a position player on the mound either now or in the 9th.

...or they go the knuckleball route.

Had no idea Waldron was a Nat now.

There's the position player on the mound.

And there's September Olson. He will be the only Brave that didn't reach base today.

Unless he breaks his monthly trends, Olson won't be back to his hot hitting ways until next May.

And it holds up, as snakes shutout Phillies. Braves up 4 heading into Philadelphia.

Brewers beat the Cubs in Chicago – they are really fricking good.

Looks like LA is going to win too.

I don’t see any way we catch the Brewers or beat out the Dodgers. Dodgers have 7 left with the Reds and 6 with the Giants, 3 at Miami, 3 at home with the Nats and 3 with the Padres.

My gut tells me they go at minimum 9-4 against the Giants and Reds.

Brewers have 6 with the Reds, 4 with the Cubs, 3 with the Pirates, Orioles and Phillies before finishing up with 3 against the Cardinals.

I might feel differently after our brutal next 2 weeks.

Google AI says “The Los Angeles Dodgers have a 20-19 record since the 2026 All-Star Game, according to StatMuse.”

The schedule favors the Dodgers getting a bye, but they haven’t played well.
