Best 5 innings I think I’ve ever seen from him. Racking up the Ks, but outside of that one Realmuto AB, not many lengthy ABs.

Just looked at the WC standings. Arizona has jumped into the 2nd spot, 3.5 behind Philly. Chicago and Cincy are tied for the 3rd spot w/the Marlins a 1/2 game out.

Goddamnit. Strider was pitching so, so well tonight too, and now all of a sudden he's given up 3 runs in 6 innings.
Cleaning up that kind of inconsistency is definitely the next step in his evolution.

I wouldn't be opposed to a Strider/Elder piggyback for this exact reason in the NLDS

Yeah, but it’s going to be tough to hit an early eject button on Strider if he’s pitching like that.

Phillies Reddit melting over Ozuna:

fricking loser arse Atlanta fans support Ozuna, a man who literally held his wife's neck like a rubber chicken and pulled the "don't you know who I am?" while drunk driving. It's actually a shame he didn't careen into a wall (like all drunk drivers and Domestic abusers should

That would be pretty cool to see. Very different pitching styles that could complement each other very well

There is no universe that exists where you pull a dealing Spencer Strider for Bryce Elder. None.
