5 starters in the playoffs. Doesn't happen. But you might have meant to choose from.

So assuming we get home fields in the NLDS who would we rather face Brewers, Dodgers, Rockies?

Tough to say but right now I’d go with the dodgers. I don’t want any part of the Rockies that’s for sure

How does it work. Would the cubs(if they finish 1st) face wild card team or west team if they have a record worse than the wildcard team?

We would face the Rockies

Pretty sure the wild card is the 4th seed regardless of record. They play the team with the best record amongst the division winners

We will play the West team more than likely. I’d love to see the D-backs push into there but it’ll probably be the Rockies.

That is unless the Cubs and Brewers melt down or we go a massive run

I see how I misworded that... I didnt really mean that literally. But I personally see him being that last starter for us if need-be. Geez guys ive been a braves fan since I was a toddler watching 95 WS.

I was giving you a little shite, meant no harm. I knew what you meant and somewhat agree. Bring Julio out the pen but on a short leash. When he is off he is off.

Cubs lost to the Brewers now, 2.5 games behind Chicago and 1.5 behind Milwaukee. Hopefully we can sweep the Nats and see if went can't gain more ground

I’d much rather face the Rockies even with they swept us earlier this year. With the Dodgers, you’d face Kershaw twice and be looking at Jansen in the 9th. Rockies have had a good season but their bullpen has been very shaky and they don’t have the starting pitching the Dodgers have.

that's a good point. bullpen is extremely vital in the playoffs.

Also, our lineup is perfectly suited to face a lefty. Ozzie and Camargo both hit better as RH batters, and Freddie and Nick are two of the best LH batters when facing LHP.
