Yeah, that play where Janish slid and stopped the ball and couldn't even throw it to 2nd in time to get the lead runner last night, Simba would have made it into a DP and it would have looked easy.

The first play that Janish had to charge the ball and couldn't get the throw in time was another one. Simba would have gunned that guy down easily. I know Janish is a good defender, but he looked like a girl throwing the ball compared to what I'm used to seeing with Simba

I was talking about the one he ended up in the outfield grass after making the stop. He was sitting down and casually tossed the ball over to 2nd. It was a great play to even get the stop, but I'm so used to Simba being awesome in the field.

Gotcha. I didn't watch the whole game. I was trying to get my girl to sit at the table and eat her dinner, while feeding 2 month old his bottle, so I think I missed a couple innings early on.

@mlbbowman: Starting to sound like Pastornicky will be more than just a day-to-day deal. Should have an update within the next hour. #Braves

Oh whoops I read it too fast. I thought it said Pastornicky was only going to be day-to-day.

@mlbbowman: As the #Braves work on getting an infielder via a waiver deal, it might make more sense to go w/ Gosselin than La Stella as a short-term fix
