It really is a fricking miracle that this team not only has a winning record, but has a sizable lead in the division. They just flat out suck at doing the things you need to do to win close games, i.e. timely hitting and solid baserunning/defense.

Mets couldnt beat their Las Vegas affiliate. As Carton said on NY sports radio today, great they took the doubleheader but they still suck
