We need Woo out this inning.

Top of the order would be the part to chase him

Woo has been arse this season but we haven't touched him today

We’re not even really making any good contact

I’m thinking the batters aren’t seeing the ball well with the day game.

Knew it was gone off the bat. Still a solid outing for Perez

Our batters are coming back down to earth a little.
Starting to swing at stuff out of the zone. We could have drawn a bunch of walks today.

Kinley has been a completely different pitcher in May.

I mean, not really.
Olson, Albies, Dubon and Baldwin have all had a good west trip to this point. Harris is the only one that hasn't produced much lately, but that's because he hasn't been in the lineup.
The issue is that Riley and Yaz are black holes, Acuna is out and we're throwing a bone to a dude who never projected as a MLBer, but has had a decent start at the plate to his AAA season.

Riley is simply not an MLB-caliber hitter right now.

Still 7/$150M left on that contract including this season. May have to attach an upper tier prospect or two to him if we ever want to try and get off of that deal.
Change of scenery might be beneficial for both team and player at this point. I don't believe he will ever get back to what he was from 2021-2023 while he's here.

I hope we keep Didier in the bullpen. He looks like a potentially elite high leverage bullpen arm who would be dirt cheap for 6 years.

Riley has supposedly been putting in a lot of work to get out of this funk. I'm not for trading him at this point especially if we have to attach high ceiling prospects to the deal.

Has been the narrative with him for the last 2 years.

Yeah, but he actually has a good hitting coach now.
