I don’t know what you do with Freddie and his contract at this point. He’s obviously going to get better but how much better and what that’s worth is up for debate

I love Freddie but I honestly don't think paying him $30M/year is a good idea for the Braves. Baseball is a sport where depth might be more important than stars, especially for a franchise with a strict but fluctuating payroll like the Braves have.

I get that but I really think the Braves giving him a Goldschmidt contract would cripple the franchise, especially if the Battery has a down year.

Tomlin is a great guy to have around the organization, but he really can only be used in mop up duty. Is it fair to wonder how much longer he stays around?
