Including this year, 8 years/114.85 mil left on the books for BJ and Dan.

If he keeps hitting like this I have a feeling LaStella or Pastornicky will replace him sometime next year (or at the end of this one), with us eating half his contract and trading him ala Lowe.
They'd be better off in the meantime just sticking Pena out there at second. Better defense and he can at least make contact.

fricking frick.
Not giving up on BJ Upton yet.
I think we know who Uggla is by now though.

It's a good thing our 1 and 2 pitchers have been lights out. You know, Zimm and Detwiler.
Now if Stras and Gio would only get their shite together.

Probably so, but Uggla and Fredi are buddies, so he'll get the full year to suck balls and prove he has totally lost it.

It really is inexcusable, it's like no adjustments have been made since he got to Atlanta. Starting to remind me of Andruw Jones

Good thing he's pitching tomorrow.

Haren's been better lately. Hopefully that can continue tomorrow. Hopefully...

Not worried at all about stras and gio. They'll get it together. Still early for haren.

Too early to give up on BJ. I think he's just pressing with his Lil bro lighting it up. I choose to believe he'll be fine.
Uggla is awful and has proved it time and time again.

Watching BJ tomorrow should be interesting to see, as he has owned Haren with 5 HRs and an 1.161 OPS in 31 ABs against him.

And even if he is worse than normal hittingwise, he'll still give us plus defense in CF. Uggla is at best average defensively, he provides nothing if he isn't hitting.
