I never said anything about Stanton and MVP votes. You're putting words in my mouth. All I said was MVP voting doesn't really take defense into account anywhere near as offense. You are the only one in this entire message board who would take Heyward.

I said Heyward is much better at defense than Stanton, and you said that defense doesn't win MVP votes, thereby heavily implying that MVP votes are a measurement of a player's worth.

I like Heyward a lot don't get me wrong, I think he's a great player. I just think Stanton is better

I think that's a reasonable opinion. I'm just saying no one can definitively say that one is better than the other.

I was laughing at your reasoning. sound logic. I also watch baseball

Your idea of a better player is different than mine, and most others. I know you don't care but for the hell of it I just googled best right fielders in baseball and literally every site I went on had Stanton number 1.

bautista? braun?

99% of this argument has been about using poor reasoning.
If cheesesteak had just said that he thinks Stanton is better, I wouldn't have a problem with that. When someone uses RBI and batting average, I have to argue with that.

my original argument was average hr and rbi, which stanton is better at.

Braun is left fielder. and look at Bautista career stats.
Joey Bats had 2 seasons in his career of over 30 hrs and he hits 220 every year.

braun is a right fielder now.
bautista is in his fifth year of being one of the best hitters in the game. he's like a more patient stanton offensively

I dont even know what that means.

I was in the middle of typing that I have to argue when someone uses BA and RBI to evaluate a player, and at the same time you were typing that your original argument was that Stanton has more RBI and a higher BA.

at 33 and only have 2 seasons of more than 30 hrs... I'm not trying to say Stanton is godly, I'm just saying he is better than Heyward. Which most of the offensive categories people look at he owns Heyward. I'm not trying to get into it with other players.

And most of the defensive categories show that Heyward owns Stanton.

The Marlins will win a world series before Heyward wins a gold glove.
