well it's been a rough last 10 games for the Braves. Once they finish getting pounded by Detroit they will have gone 2-8 in their last 10. Luckily, we still have the division lead, and we have key guys out with injuries. This team has yet to field it's projected full starting lineup this season, so the potential to get better is there. We will push through this down streak and get back to winning ball games soon enough.

Braves will still alright the rest of the way, better have the rough patches right now. Although have the strikeouts been an issue prior to this series? I haven't seen that much of them this year...

I read a few days ago where Uggla said something along the lines of "you can strike out three times, and it doesn't matter if you hit a three run bomb."
The fact that he hasn't been hitting jackshit notwithstanding, homeruns or otherwise, statements like that could be indicative of what is ailing this lineup. You're not gonna get many fastballs to mash if you're just up there hacking at everything indiscriminately. Maybe if dumbass Uggla would change his approach some, he would be hitting above the Mendoza line at least.

The best part about this is, we've played shitty and still are in first with a huge series vs the Gnats.
