There is inevitably going to be a regression with Lopez who had a worse WHIP than Verlander last season but had his ERA nearly 3 full runs lower.

The dude got lucky in 2021. It's becoming more obvious that season is the outlier. They continue to let the guys that built this team walk and they've won TWO playoff games total since the WS.
