I know it's considered dumb to look ahead to the next series, when you have to win this one first, but I'd really like to end this series today for the sake of having a better chance in the World Series. Don't get me wrong, of course I'll take the series win any way we can get it, over losing it. But, if we have to burn Anderson on Sunday, and win, we'll be going into the World Series with Wilson and Wright as our games 1 and 2 starters. Given that Snitker said they were not going to pitch Fried on 3 days rest, even if they had lost game 4, that tells me they are simply not going to push it with any of these young pitchers, this year. So that means Anderson and Fried would only get a start each, in the World Series, and if the series made it to a game 6 or 7, they MIGHT be available in short relief.

Wright has been outstanding until the other night, and Wilson was spectacular in game 4. It's just rather nerve-racking having them back to back to open the series, with their inexperience, and especially not knowing yet where Wright stands, mentally, following his last appearance. Hopefully, he'll shake it off and get back to what he was doing.

More importantly, I just hope we do get there.

Edit- I just remembered there will actually be off days in the World Series, after games 2 and 5, so Fried could potentially pitch twice, if need be. If we win today, it would still be MUCH better, obviously.
