Not if Sale doesn’t settle in. Dodgers will break through at some point.

Sale's pitch count isn't ideal at this point in the game

No but he is fricking filthy
It’s a question of if he should move to pitching for contact to try for more length or keep pitching for Ks

I’d try to let the bottom of the order roll over on first pitch fast balls.

ETA; as I type that Tucker singles so I’m dumb

Did not love that swing by KiKi. He was on it.

Both Betts and Tucker have gotten crazy jumps to easily steal.

Wut? Sale is carving them up like butter he has struck out 4 of the 5 outs so far.

The issue isn’t him giving up runs it’s his pitch count

He's on 6 day rest so should be good for 115 plus at least. Ride this fricker as long as you can. No use to baby him anymore

He’s going deep into counts. Putting runners on. Just because he hasn’t given up runs doesn’t mean he isn’t settled in.

42 pitches through 2.0 is the issue.

Strikeouts are great but we need innings tonight.

He had a stretch 2-3 years ago where he tried to hit righty exclusively to get out of a slump.
