Go Phillies frick the Braves. I am done with these bunch of pussies

One wonders what LSU G-string was watching tonight since his Phils were sttting idle while the Braves swept the Dodgers

The word alpha gets thrown out at a nauseating rate these days, especially on message boards.

Chris Sale is a fricking alpha in every sense of the word.

Just checking in. Didn’t have us sweeping the dodgers all in 1-run wins on the bingo card this week.

No doubt, nice to see. I think any of us would have taken 4-2 versus the Dodgers and Brewers.

Hopefully the offense can get going down the stretch.

SoS remaining

Dodgers have a cakewalk of a remaining schedule. We’re middle of the pack. Gonna be tough for us to get and maintain the 2 seed. I’ll just take the pennant this point. frick the Phillies.

Braves are 15-6 against the Dodgers, Phillies, Cubs and Brewers.

That gives me a glimmer of hope going into the postseason.

Also gives me a better feeling towards the month of September schedule. We seem to perform better against the good teams instead of the crappy to mediocre teams this year (outside of West Coast trips, where we always suck).

We have the second best record in MLB against +.500 teams (We're 37-23, Milwaukee is 37-21... for comparison, LA is 33-36).

Our issue has been laying an egg against shite teams. Getting swept by Minnesota and losing 2/3 to Arizona was brutal, only for us to 4-2 against Brewers and Dodgers.

Here’s Chris Sale getting that swig of beer from his buddy. So cool for the boys to be old enough to really remember their dad being a dominant pitcher.
