I have a question about MLB.tv. We just moved to BR from Alabama, where I got all the Braves game on cable. I have AT&T UVerse because my yard has too many trees for DirecTV. Is MLB.tv my only option for watching games? And can you stream MLB.tv through a Samsung Smart TV or do I have to watch them on a computer?
Thanks in advance...

You need to make sure you aren't in the black out area.

Most if not all smart devices have a MLB.tv app. I think it would work best with apple tv, roku, or fire tv. I'm not familiar with gaming devices but I'm sure it would work great with those as well. A Smart TV especially Samsung would be fine, but you probably won't get the quality as you would with another device.

Is BR in the blackout area? How do people from BR watch Braves games?

I don't think BR is a blackout area for the Braves. Probably for Houston and/or Dallas.

My bad, it looks like you're good to go.

How much longer before blackout restrictions are no longer a thing?
The MLB is losing a customer because I refuse to buy cable just to watch Braves games but I'd buy MLB.tv if it weren't for blackout restrictions.
And yes I realize there are ways around it.

Oklahoma is a market for 4 teams:
Texas, Houston, KC, and St.L

I don't envy that scenario. Is it difficult if you had cable to get any of those teams on a nightly basis?

I thought MLB.tv offered away game streaming of the game to combat the black out restriction?

Yeah they changed something this year where you can get the away feed.
I used to always have to watch the home broadcast of those teams when Barves played them.
