Am I the only one that gets turned off by the fake emotion from some of these guys? “Oh, it’s the Ryder Cup and I’m supposed to yell and pump my fists wildly and play to the crowd after every mundane putt made.”

I mean they also live in the US. It’s a little ironic

To my understanding, the captains had no idea who they were pairing with. It was by chance. They selected their picks blindly.

Am I wrong? No care if so. I thought it was blind selections.

No, but the coaching and structure certainly helps. Otherwise you wouldn’t see them at Arizona State and Oklahoma State. Also it takes a spot from an American.

Charlie is born and raised in the US, not Europe

Rahm and Rory and hovland etc children will be born and raised in the Us

You aren’t making a good comparison

So tbey are less European because they have American wives, but Tiger is not less American for marrying a Swede?

You said their sons can play for America or Europe, I'm just pointing out that Tiger's son can play for both too.

But they weren't raised in America. They def feel more European than American.

Saying that it's fake nationalism on their part was a bad take.

Almost as bad as that Scheffler play.

Scottie and Rahm lined up by chance? There's no way.

But you may be right. Anyone know for sure?

Pretty sure it can be "deduced" at worst. Rahm being 1 and Hovland 2 etc but also Morikawa as our #2 doesn't make sense.
