You said Niemann was garbage in majors after he just got T8
He finished 7 back, backdoored a 9-way tie for 8th for by far his best ever finish in a Major on a course that played 1.6 strokes easier Sunday morning than Sunday afternoon Datagolf.

Wow that seems pretty good for a 26 year old. Look forward to revisiting our Aberg vs Niemann discussion after the Majors

Oh you like datagolf? It’s crazy they have Niemann ranked #5 in the world huh

Yeah I think there are only two. Bryson & Scottie, but I expect Niemann to play well

Xander literally won three tournaments the year before winning a major you stupid frick. He was trending in that direction unlike Collin who can't keep a caddie to save his life.
Your ignorance on every topic is incredibly entertaining.

Ok. And burns is 28
They are good comps. One from the tour and one from liv so nobody gets their panties in a wad

Niemann is a top 10-20 player.
Among the LIV guys rahm and bryson clearly better, i might bet hatton over Niemann in a major. Cam Smith and Brooks might have mailed it in at this point.
But calling Niemann garbage is dumb

Him and burns are two guys with big games and success elsewhere that have been bad in majors overall
It is ok to say that. They both have time to change that script
He called him “garbage in majors”, not garbage. I would say that is a little too strong. He has been bad in majors for his game.

They’re not. I would bet Niemann will win a major by 28

Burns was 9th in the world at 25 years old
He has won 5 times ln tour
He struggles big times in majors
He is a great comp to him

Xander finished 2nd place the week before winning his 1st major you dumb frick. He also finished 2nd at the Players the month before winning. Try harder

Morikowa has also finished 2nd twice this year already….

OMG he finished 2nd at the Sentry which has like 50 golfers and no Rory. He's been hot garbage since April which is why he axed his caddie.
I mean he was just three shots better than Niemann at the Masters who apparently sucks even though he's got the most wins on LIV this year.
I'm not claiming Xander will win this week but betting a guy who hasn't shown any form of winning in over two years is crazy especially at a major where 2 maybe 3 guys have a chance at winning.

In big events too. 2nd at memorial and the tour championship last year
2nd at sentry and Arnold Palmer this year

He did technically win that btw per OWGR. He shot the best score of the week but Scottie won by 4 due to format
Posted on 6/10/25 at 7:42 am to lsupride87
Maverick McNealy has a better shot at winning than Morikawa.
He's won at Memorial before but it was a chicken shite event the week before the actual big boy one (Workday) and the Sentry is irrelevant just like the Zurich. He had zero form going into any of major tournament and still doesnt

For sure, Colin Morikawa is a great iron player, but his putting is what keeps him from wining more.
