If a guy cheats on purpose and admits it, you DQ him, regardless of what the rules say. The rules can’t be written to handle every possible situation, and if someone violates sportsmanship in that way, you have to punish them severely.

I am surprised there hasn't been a suicide at a US Open. These courses/setups are psychologically brutal.
I think you've had enough internet for today.

Not a single player out there now views par as a disappointment because they didn’t make a birdie. LOL Par means something today under these conditions.

When did the US Open turn into the Phoenix Open?
Sounds like a bunch of drunk ASU frat boys in the crowd.

Noticed that today...
I can’t stand the way Fox circles the birdies in red when they show a players card...green for birdies and red for bogies

I don't know if that is Strange or Azinger claiming that 7 over won at Inverness in the 1970s but whoever it is is wrong. Hale Irwin shot even par in 1979 to win at Inverness.

eave it to the usga to write shitty vague rules and then blame the players when there’s a controversy or gray area.
Nobody contemplated having to write a rule for a shite move like FIGJAM’s

Isn't a birdie a negative number by definition? Negative is usually red.

What a putt by Koepka. It cracks me up how much different the modern golfer is built vs the golfer of old.

This isn’t as bad as they’re making it out to be. The cream is rising to the top. Great shots aren’t being punished. The wind is making it tough and the greens are fast, that’s it.
