Their game against Michigan was a joke. Michigan defended them very well but they kept hitting ridiculous, well defended, contested shots.

Gonzaga was the same for the 1st half, and they started to solve MSU in the 2nd half but still iced the game with some made contested shots in the last 10 minutes

That's why Virginia's defense doesn't really matter. They can defend as well as they want, but if the defended shots Texas Tech throws up go in anyway, not much they can do.

UVA's end of game luck has been there, but Texas Tech has been lucky too, people just don't realize it because their luck isn't happening at the end of the game. Instead Texas Tech's luck is what is building their leads. I'm tired of seeing Texas Tech sink contested shots that are well defended. I get that these shots will be made every now and then, but good lord Texas Tech is making way more of them that the law of averages say they should.

Shot clock about to expire? Trapped in the corner with 2 defenders on you? Throw up a panic shot and it goes in. They haven't all been that lucky, but most of these shots they are making I highly doubt a coach would say it was a good shot, and any coach watching film would say it was well defended and it was a win for the defense even though the shot went in

Honest question have you watched Tech at all before last weekend?

Have fun, man. Needless to say, these moments don't come around often. I would mostly feel bad for Tech if they have a letdown since it feels like they did a lot of heavy lifting by wiping out Mich, Gonzaga, and MSU.
