Very strange trade.
Semien is a good defender but the Mets have a talented group of young middle infielder prospects. Guessing this was more about moving Nimmo’s contract.

So the Rangers must be getting rid of Garcia. Seager's lowly .271 batting average is a little higher than Nimmo's .262, but the rest of Nimmo's offensive numbers are better than any Ranger's starter from 2025. Josh Smith had the 2nd highest batting average & led the team in that category for most of the season.
