Current record 4-3
Remaining schedule
10/30- Baylor
11/6- @ Kansas State
11/13- Ok State
11/20- Florida Atlantic
11/25- aTm
I see 3 losses left on that schedule, and 1 toss up. Even if UT makes it to 6-6, I think they go below .500 to do it.
Has the NC runner-up ever failed to even make a bowl game the next year?

Nobody cares about texas with mack brown pulling in the 5* qb's and top-ranked recruiting classes, with will muschamp coaching that pick-of-the-litter defense looking at a 6-6 or 7-5 record?

In your opinion they are looking at 6-6 (which gets a bowl by the way). For them to not make a bowl they'd have to go 1-4, I don't see than happening. They've nad 2 stunning loses and a big win at NU. What does that tell us? They are inconsistent.

This. They'll probably destroy Baylor and then lose to K-State like they always do (a mediocre K-State team dominated UT in Austin a couple of years ago - kind of like UCLA and ISU). They'll win the two games they need - FAU is a gimme at least.

he's saying they will fall below .500 at some point, I'd assume he thinks they'll lose to Baylor and K State to get to 4-5 or soemthing.

Yes, 6-6 gets a bowl game, but the only sure win I see is FAU. They could easily go 1-4 to finish the year. They could also go 5-0. I think they finish 6-6, but I'm also asking what yall think about it, hence the ? at the end of the title.

No, they won;t miss a bowl game. I'd guess they go 8-4 maybe 9-3. None the teams that could beat them are sure fire either.

Yes, I think they'll fall to 4-5 before making it to 6-6

I think Texas having a losing record would be too good to be true. But it would probably be best for the program because it would mean they'd have to scapegoat someone, likely Greg Davis.

why, because they lost to Iowa State? Nebraska lost to ISU last year and still won the North.

1 loss down, 3 more to go!

Exactly, one of our team leads is a UT grad. This will be fun. Whats a Baylor cheer/chant?

...prolly not ...

most likely wins: Kansas State, Fla. Atlantic, TAM.

Losses: Baylor (already) , Okie State

...decent shot at 7-5. And "Bowling" at some minor event.

Too bad the Indy bowl is no longer affiliated with the Big 12. I'd love to see Texas go from Pasadena to Shreveport.
