Texas looked solid. Not great but they were very good on 3rd down. I think Sark is going to do a really good job if he stays off the sauce.

Cajuns had a bunch of drops early, forced a couple of fumbles but didn’t recover, and didn’t tackle well. Cajuns will have to get better with those things, otherwise I thought it was fine. Defensive line held up pretty well for the most part, didn’t give up too many explosive plays, just couldn’t get off the field. Levi will need to stop airmailing balls.

Texas will need to create more explosive plays, can’t rely on a freshman to keep converting third downs in conference.

Tackling was atrocious at times. Some of the receivers seemed to have the drops, for sure. EJ did well, kid always had great hands.

He seemed to lack confidence at times, made a few bad throws. He always seems to have a few times like that in a couple of games. Let's hope it is out of his system for good now.

Levi also telegraphed his throws.

We need to get Kyren Lacy involved earlier. He is easily our best receiver.

I'm sure he probably is but I'm kinda biased toward Rogers. Both my two younger kids went to HS with him. My son was on the football and basketball team with him. His dad is a great guy.

I was totally unfamiliar with Smith. Looks to be another good back for the Cajuns.

Errol is good too. We have good young weapons. Chris Smith was an all American kick returner last year. I wasn’t super familiar with Montrell Johnson but he looked really good especially for a freshman. Emani Bailey had the fumble but I like him too. Think our running backs will be solid again once they get some more experience.

Based on today’s optics, I wouldn’t be shocked if the SarkHorns won the Big12 this season.
