Orlovsky wouldn’t bother me, at least to try out for a year. He doesn’t have the great voice for it and he’s pretty punchable in a debate format. But he’s actually great at seeing and explaining Xs and Os in a way that’s easy to understand. His qb breakdowns are good, he points out a lot of subtle stuff that most analysts don’t.
All that to say, I think it would be a significant upgrade over Booger and Witten in terms of what a color guy is actually supposed to provide to the broadcast.

If they moved Fowler and Herbie, they wreck Gameday. Fowler and Herbie also don’t fix MNF. Monday nights don’t have the best NFL matchups anymore. Shoot, between a 3PM marquee game and Sunday Night Football, MNF was giving you a mid-to-low tier game.
Unless the Gameday crew wants to try MNF, ESPN would be wise not to create another problem and instead go with someone like Levy.
