Have you read anything? It's not a loaner. His mommy bought it.

He read his lawyer's statement that all those cars were loaners from the dealership. Not hard to put 1 and 1 together and get 3 when you dont see the hidden decimals.

Yeah, even when the paragraphs about the purchase of the Nissan were in the first part of the article.

I'm sorry, there was a link to an article in the OP?

BTW, I know the OP summarized some of the lawyer's statements in the first post. But still not the actual statements. Just giving you a hard time.

Registered with which state, Ohio or Pennsylvania? Shouldn't the registration be with Pennsylvania, and wouldn't PA be the issuer of the appropriate temporary license? I'm sure cross border sales are quite common in Pennsylvania and Ohio. And I'm willing to bet that Ohio dealer tags being left on cars sold to Pennsylvania residents is not a routine procedure.

Pryor is just digging himself in deeper and deeper. Attempts to make his use of automobiles appear routine only demonstrate that Ohio State is in the cover up mode rather than the come clean mode.

Where are you coming up with this? He lives in Ohio. I believe his mom does as well. He is from PA. That doesn't have anything to do with tags if he and his mom live in Ohio. Obviously, he has an Ohio drivers license because it was suspended for a time.

There has been a lot of talk about the suspended license on Ohio State boards. Apparently in Ohio if you don't have proof of insurance on you when you get a ticket your license can be automatically suspended until you provide proof of insurance. Pryor provided the proof of insurance yesterday or today.

Never happen not in todays liberal world of no self responsibility. Why admit guilt when you can blame someone else?

So does this mean you go out and buy a car for $500 that does not run and park it at a dealership for service and then you can drive free loaners for as long as you like and you aren't breaking any rules?

since it seems your dad can shake down colleges and it's ok as long as the player supposedly doesn't know about it, then, yes maybe you have discovered the car loophole.

Yes, on a technicality. Apparently this type of suspension is common in Ohio.

While the subject is raised and since I don't want to start yet another Ohio State thread I'll put this here. One of the named players has a pretty pissed off dad.

quote:

The father of one of the Ohio State players accused of wrong-doing by Sports Illustrated has decided to issue a response to what was printed earlier this week by writer George Dohrmann. Junior linebacker Storm Klein was listed as one of the players that sold personal items for tattoos or money, and his father, Jason Klein, has issued this response to the charges.

"I have raised my son right," Jason Klein stressed Thursday evening. "Storm has no tattoos on his body whatsoever. He doesn't have a drug problem, and multiple tests prove that. I have every single bit of his Ohio State memorabilia in my possession."

"I will be meeting with attorneys shortly to pursue action against the NCAA and Sports Illustrated," he continued. "That's all I have to say at this time."
