Does it matter, Rummel doesn't lose in the first round of the playoffs at home.

you haven't lived til your HS takes 25 r 28 years to get to the Top 25 only to choke in the first round, and choke in the bi-district round ever year after that

The Raider football team will host the Terrebonne Tigers in the first round of the State Playoffs this coming Saturday, November 15 at Yenni Stadium. Kickoff is at 7 PM.

Choke? Are you shitting me? That's like saying Jesuit choked tonight against Destrehan.

Those Evangel teams were some of the best football teams in Lousiana high school football history. If Evangel is playing in 2A back then, Rummel possibly has 2 state championships.

I'm saying we take at least 1 from you. That was a pretty stacked team we had that year defensively.

At one point in the year, we had 4 D-1 signee's in the secondary. Steltz, Nick Child, Fernandez McDowell, and Eddie Webb.

Too bad WM threw the ball twice a year back then.

Lol, true.

That game when Shows went for 2 in the dome was probably the best game I have ever seen.

I'd give the nod to Rummel in 2002 atleast if not 2003 as well. WM lost 3-4 games in 2002 and several in 2003 also.

Ok and we choked against Sulphur in back to back years also, so it wasn't just evangel. Believe me I went there during those years. Roth will never get Rummel to the dome.

Steltz is probably the only thing that came out of those players.
Childs was a dumbass drugy who was fast as hell but Saban hated him.
McDowell, I can't say much dont know much about him.
Webb was just all speed, but couldn't read coverages.

You act like its easy or something. fricking people are spoiled and do not realize what Jay Roth has done for Rummel since his hiring in 1995.

For the record, you need to look up the definition of choking. Losing to a team that is better than you is not choking.

That's why he offered him a scholarship then I suppose.

Couldn't read coverages? He was a corner. Last I checked, you don't read too many coverages playing corner.

Childs was in fact a serious pothead and lord knows what else. My brother graduate with him from Rummel, I was in 00. One night out in BR, we saw him, brother called him over - dude looked out of his mind. This was last year.
