Y’all need to watch the WTA tournament starting tomorrow in South Carolina the word is they are going to be experimenting with new things like camera angles. Bethanie Mattek-Sands and Madison Keys are the two captains and the draw has a bunch of quality players on it. I know Crack isn’t a WTA guy but some of y’all are. I’d love for Rafa to roll through the French Open draw but Thiem, Tsitsipas, Stanimal, and of course Novak will put up a fight. I really want to see Nadal hold up the hardware for Slam #20 though. If the 2020 French Open doesn’t end up getting played then there must be a perpetual asterisk * in the Grand Slam total rankings for men and women. Future generations must know that Serena Williams and Rafa Nadal were robbed of a chance to extend their Grand Slam win number because of this accursed virus.

I don’t know what it’ll take for people to come out of their retard coma when it comes to this virus. Instead of realizing that it’s harmless to anyone healthy under the age of 60, they’re attacking Djokovic now for hosting the event. If anything these players will be better off than others for having caught it already.

Preach. He got excited about opening things up and just wanted to play some tennis. A couple of tour players who can handle it tested positive and now everyone is apologizing to the Twitter mobs. And Nick Kyrgios is playing the responsible one. Good on Nole for trying.

Not while Dominic Thiem is still walking the Earth. Now, am I alleging he is something other than the prohibitive favorite? No, of course not. But Thiem has progressed to the point where I no longer see him just getting worked over by Rafa like in years past.

I had a discussion about this with a girl I went to undergrad with who is a focking tenured law professor at Georgetown (i.e. she's an ostensibly very bright human being). She was all "see, look at anti-vaxxer Novak getting covid".
I was like, Novak is about as concerned with the coronavirus as he is with his wife's objections to his nightly extramarital excursions. Dude is literally one of the most fit human beings walking planet earth. So, kindly shut the funk up with your attempted moral high ground.

All of them that tested positive should be giddy. They basically have a superpowwer now. They should request an exemption from all the nonsense restrictions the USTA is trying to put on them for the open.

That goes for almost everyone in academia these days. I still can't figure if that many people really are that dumb, or if politics have become so important to them that they just don't care about being right or wrong.
BTW I don't laugh too often, but I ran across the nickname Novaxx yesterday and it got a chuckle out of me.
