It's funny how people OUTSIDE of Louisiana actually have a better perspective of our different teams and schools than the clowns INSIDE our state that are brainwashed LSU fan lemmings. In Louisiana, people think you're either LSU, or just "other." Well, that ain't the case, and that's why the ULM fans are losers. They accept being at the bottom, so I have no respect for them or their shitty little school. It's funny to think they'd pack our stadium too. It doesn't happen because they don't have fans. You'll just have to face the fact that Tech now has a decent administration and an alumni and fan base that is salivating to climb the football echelons and start really winning championships again. It's not even about LSU. I really don't give a crap about the Tigers, because they're just one team out of 120. Tech fans don't have this "penis envy" you speak of on here, because we don't want to be LSU. We would rather be BETTER, but it's not like playing LSU is our bowl game. Personally, I look forward more to the Boise and Fresno games, because those are our conference challenges later in the season.
I don't like being an elitist toward people, but these ULM jackass fans that bow to LSU get no respect from me. If your heads are so far up LSU's arse, then why do you even CARE if Tech signs a series up with your lousy Monroe institution and beats the hell out of them in front of no one?

Tech just had 21K on a Wed night game. ULM at home game mid Sept. only brought in 9k in attendance. Tech has avg over 20K in first 2 home games this year. Next 2 games should continue this level. I don't have huge hate for ULM, it just seems a West Monroe HS game gets more hype than a ULM game. It is sad to see, but that's just how it is.

maybe because the Tech game was nationally televised and against a decent conference oppenent..and also the weekend of that ULM game it had been raining all week.. also, they played Texas Southern.. you can compare Tech's game from last week to ULM's game vs Ark State coming up..not a pointless non conference rout...

Don't you think Tech's opponents might have a bit to do with when there's 21K at a game? Boise, Hawaii, whoever?
ULM plays North Texas and might draw 15 K. Maybe.
Too bad if people would just admit that ULM and Tech would sell out like no other (well...you get it). Tech and ULM play Northwestern and McNeese and same result.

I was at Tech back in early to mid 80's when we played NLU every year. At the end of my time at Tech, NLU/ULM would only bring about 3K to Ruston and when we played in Monroe it was about 9K for each team. From a business standpoint, Tech was losing money when ULM played in Ruston due to poor ticket sales, in contrast, ULM made more money when Tech played in Malone because Tech traveled better then ULM did.

It's interesting how ULM Bitch-hawks forget about Tech's national championships. I'm glad ULM is so happy they did well in AA. They have still yet to have even ONE winning season in 1A. You guys are just distorting facts and lying on here now, so it's not even fun to pick on you. At the end of the day though, I'm happy because I'm Tech and you're still and will always be NLULM wannabe loser bitches.
